From humble beginnings to become one of Shreveport's Top Attorneys. Jacqueline Scott rose from the bottoms to become a force to reckon within the legal community. She could have chosen anywhere within the country to practice law, but she decided to stay home. Shreveport is better because of her decision. Her name is heard and seen on media outlets all over Shreveport-Bossier, not because she's an attorney but her ability to help people through the legal system.
Scott can practice law before the Louisiana Supreme Court, Federal Court, Western District of Louisiana, Court of Appeals, Federal, State, and Municipal Courts. She's received the African-American Women Trailblazer Award, NAACP Award, Shreveport-Bossier Black Lawyers Association Appreciation Award, inducted into the Southern University Law Hall of Fame, and voted five times as Shreveport's Top Attorney by the public in the Shreveport-Bossier Magazine.
She's paved the way for women in law with a career of 30 plus years.
